Four Seasons Theatre presented The Last Five Years, 2002 winner of Drama Desk Awards for Best Music and Best Lyrics, November 3-6, 2005 at Music Hall on the UW-Madison campus. Featuring FST staff member Amanda Poulson and New York performing artist Eric Moore, this beautiful and heart-wrenching story of love, trust and patience explored the personal struggles of Cathy and Jamie, a young couple, as they pursue their personal dreams and try to keep their relationship together through 5 years of changes.

As part of our ongoing commitment to engaging the community in the creative process Four Seasons Theatre presented a series of audience talkbacks with the members of the production staff for The Last Five Years.

On November 3 Lighting Designer Paul Schaefer discussed developing the design for The Last Five Years and process of taking it from paper to reality.

On November 5 Make Up and Wig Designer Jan Ross shared experiences from her career as a theatre professional including work with the Madison Opera and Madison Ballet, along with many touring companies and professional productions.

On November 5 and November 6 Director Andrew Abrams, and cast members Amanda Poulson and Eric Moore spoke about the process of putting together The Last Five Years with cast members in Wisconsin and New York and only one week of rehearsals.
